BMP Director of Civic Engagement, Trish Tchume will be leaving to become the first National Director of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network which has over 30 chapters and over 30,000 members around the country. While we will miss Trish’s warm presence and invaluable insights, we look forward to partnering with her and YNPN as we continue to document the types of leadership – including sector-wide supports – that are needed to build the movement for social change.
During her three years at BMP, Trish expanded our civic engagement portfolio by building the movement of social service providers who are integrating social change values and practices into their work, leading our training efforts, and developing publications such as Making Social Change: Case Studies of Nonprofit Service Providers and Evidence of Change: Exploring Civic Engagement Evaluation.
