2021
Here at BMP, we are immensely grateful to the individuals, organizations, and networks that have supported, engaged with, and sustained our work throughout this difficult year. At a time of despair and division, we have witnessed nonprofit organizations and movements spark hope and build power. BMP channels, supports, and fuels the work of nonprofits and movements in different ways, and we hope that you will support our vital work.
Over the next four weeks, we will be highlighting four key ways that we support movement building efforts across the nonprofit sector and in our society. Each week, we will share an example, a story, and a call to action. We hope this series inspires and moves you, and that you will share it with your colleagues, friends, and networks.

Building Power
BMP supports the work of the Detroit Peoples Platform, which builds grassroots and organizing power to transform systems and structures to bring about a racially just Detroit.
Building Community
Through cohorts in New Mexico and our Power Up Internship Program, we create and sustain spaces for connection, innovation, learning, and community for individuals and organizations.
Building Connections
Solidarity Is crafts narratives, conducts trainings and develops strategy to assist nonprofit and movement leaders to deepen their solidarity practices and foster connections across movements.
Building the Case for Change
We push the sector to move beyond talk and make lasting, meaningful change through our Race to Lead research and reports, as well as our forthcoming racial equity assessment for nonprofits.
