Webinar: Connecting Grassroots Grantmaking to Movement Building

Join Grassroots Grantmakers for a conversation with special guest, Director Frances Kunreuther, as they explore the complex set of relationships that contribute to movement building for social change, with specific focus on the relationship between people and groups that are the focus of grassroots grantmaking and the movement building work of social-justice oriented non-profit organizations. The presentation will begin with a short primer on movement building and the movement building landscape, and then it will explore intersections between the work established non-profit organizations do in this arena and the work that active citizens are doing on the ground in their communities. Registration is open to everyone who supports people as change-makers in their own communities through funding, technical assistance, training or research. The only cost for participation is the cost of a normal long-distance call, charged to your own telephone when you call in – Grassroots Grantmakers’ way of cost-sharing so they can use webinars to connect the grassroots grantmaking community to promising practices, new resources, and the outstanding work of your peers.
