About the Workshop:
Grassroots work is critical to movements, community action and local change. What makes an organization grassroots, though? What makes grassroots organizations different? Partnering with and funding grassroots work can be an incredibly powerful way to give, but what do you need to know to make the most of your good intentions? Join us to hear from leaders leading inspirational change on the frontlines, and learn some of the technical in’s and out’s you can embrace and navigate to let your support seed powerful change with grassroots partnership.Speakers: Sean Thomas-Breitfeld (BMP) and Dr. Froswa’ Booker-Drew (State Fair of Texas).
About the Summit:
We Give Summit is a celebration of collective giving that will span the four weeks in May. Hundreds of everyday givers from around the world are invited to connect, learn, and collaborate together. The inaugural theme, Stronger Together, was selected to uplift and celebrate the strength in unity. With live and on-demand sessions, this virtual event will inspire and connect individuals across a growing grassroots movement. We Give Summit kicks off on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 with all subsequent sessions held on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout May.
