Nonprofit Human Resources Conference

Join Caroline McAndrews of the Building Movement Project at the 2010 Nonprofit Human Resources Conference, where she will be leading a workshop titled “What Works: Strategies for Multigenerational Workplaces.” The session will present and discuss a national survey and a series of focus groups conducted by BMP with nonprofit employees, explore how practices such as building transparent decision-making processes; employee performance management systems tied to individual, programmatic, and organizational success; and opportunities for advancement increase employee satisfaction and intent to stay with their organizations. Participants will have a chance to apply these ideas to their own organizations, both large and small, through exercises and discussion.
