The BMP team in Detroit will be gathering on August 10th as part of their Uniting Detroiters project, which seeks to bring together residents from across the city and unite them around common issues. This meeting, the second in a series of convenings, will take place at the Solanus Casey Center (1780 Mount Elliot Street) from 10am to 3pm to discuss a citizen’s right to the city, collective power, and new political geographies emerging in Detroit. This meeting will be particularly focused on the issue of land use. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by August 6th to Linda Campbell at lstewart22@aol.com.
