YWCA 2021 Racial Justice Summit – Moving from Talking to Action

What will it take to move from talking to action as it relates to race equity, leadership, and supporting nonprofit leaders of color? Join Sean Thomas-Breitfeld (Co-Director, Building Movement Project) for a presentation and discussion on the nonprofit racial leadership gap, the impact of COVID-19 on people of color led-nonprofits, and what steps philanthropy and the sector can take to create lasting systemic change. This session will focus on BMP’s two reports: Race to Lead Revisited and On The Frontlines.

YWCA USA is excited to host “In Solidarity We Build,” a Virtual Racial Justice Summit and Gala. In partnership with local association leadership, leading organizations, and other key stakeholders, the Summit and Gala are intended to inform and motivate our community to advance a critical component of our mission – eliminating racism.
