Description

Building off the powerful and landmark work and advocacy of The Nap Ministry, this session will explore the rest as a central component and tool in advocacy, liberation and movement-building. This session will explore how to institute rest on a macro level within your organizations. Hear leaders share best practices for intentionally centering rest at the macro-level organizationally and how we can begin to consistently plan rest into our everyday lives, during COVID-19 and beyond.

ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM:

Join 1,000+ dedicated advocates at the 5th Annual National Symposium on Solutions to End Youth Homelessness to leverage our collective power and platforms to fight for true and lasting liberation. Our two-day, virtual gathering on Tuesday, June 15, and Wednesday, June 16, will offer a space for attendees from across the country to connect with providers, researchers, activists, policymakers, funders, and more committed to ending the national youth homelessness crisis. Learn about initiatives that will ensure that communities support youth around the country within the movement to end youth homelessness and beyond.
