Quick Access: Presentation Slides, Recording, Transcript, Sounding the Alarm: Nonprofits on the Frontlines of a Polarized Political Climate Report
Drawing from Building Movement Project’s report in the Movement Infrastructure series, Sounding the Alarm: Nonprofits on the Frontlines of a Polarized Political Climate, this webinar contextualized these challenges within the long history of movement repression in the U.S., highlighted strategies of resistance, and issued a call to funders to stand in long-term solidarity with frontline communities.
The discussion addressed key issues, including nonprofit security and safety, movement repression and defense, and state and local responses of grassroots groups fighting back. This conversation highlighted the resilience across movements with actionable insights to support strategies for safety and security in this moment.
