Discussion on Diversity in Nonprofits

Nonprofits interested in increasing diversity and inclusion in nonprofits at the staff, executive, and board levels are invited to join in a discussion with Building Movement Project and The New Philanthropists on Tuesday, July 31st at The Settlement Home for Children from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Frances Kunreuther and Sean Thomas-Breitfeld of the Building Movement Project will share the results of the Race to Lead study on national nonprofit workforce diversity as well as discuss best practices with One Voice members. Following lunch (provided), Kazique Prince of The New Philanthropists will address diversity among Austin's nonprofit boards and facilitate a conversation around the impact of different cultural communication styles on board selection.

This event is aimed at Executive Directors and their Board members, with a limit of 2 per organization.
